Bedroom Poetry Volume 1 - Bad Neighbours
East is East, West is West
Whichever way we look,
Our neighbour is a pest.
The Pakistanis push terror
The Chinese say our maps are in error
Now from Xinjiang to Gwadar
They're bulding a road together
Wars have been fought
Lessons have been taught
But in this fix, we're once again caught
Braver than a soldier, is every civilian
Eager to show his inner Napoleon.
They will never see the front
For the soldier bears war's greatest brunt
Majors and Generals, once they retire
Are safely out of the line of fire
Now they scream of strategy
While in service it was all "Yes, Ji"!
But,sit back, relax and take a chill pill
Our Tambis and Bahadurs are keeping vigil
The Chinese, they say , may go away
And we'll keep watching, night or day
The Pakis, they claim our border state
In which they sow the seeds of hate
They know for sure it is a lost cause
For we've always shown 'em who's boss.
Thank you for reading, now you may go
Like, share and spread, this Exasperating Farrago!
